++PHAYATHAI HOME FOR BABIES++
On Saturday 27th August 2011, my girlfriend and I were visiting the Phayathai Home for Babies at Pakkret Nonthaburi. We brought some necessities for babies like powdered milk, UHT milk, nappies, nappies cream, soap, etc. so that we could donate them for those cute and pitiful babies. We also played with them and felt the children were very happy. After a visit, both of us have a very strong feeling of telling about this great place to the others. So, please help them if you have a chance.
Phayathai home for babies is an institute under the Bureau of Woman and Child Protection and Welfare. The place was found for providing care for children who were abandoned from their parents; children who were abused by their parents; and lost children since 1953. These children are obviously reflect the dark side of our modern society.
The care home provides nursing care, health care, child development services, and social welfare services to the children aged from 0 to 5 years.
Being a government institution in a developing country and the fact that the number of children is rising continually, there is a common shortage of funds and supplies at the institution. Even though they have made a continuing effort to provide welfare services, to prepare and enable children to enjoy the rights ther are entitled to for the utmost future future growth and success, the institution needs your helps on:
- Paying a visit and socialise with children
- A voluntary feeding, story reading, bathing and/or other activities
- Donation in form of money or basic baby supplies (including baby MEDICINES!!)
- Adoption: temporary / permanent
The Phayathai Babies' Home is located on 78/24 Moo. 1 District Bangtalad Amphur Pakket Nontaburi Province, THAILAND. Tel : +66 (2) 584 7253 to 55 Fax :+66 (2) 584 7254 to 55 ext. 109. Need a map? it's here...

I would love to volunteer at the Babies Home. How do I get in contact with them?

I think the best way is to call them directly. I have provided the link :)
